Re: Pics of My Current Stable...

Well the Strat and the PRS are members within the last 3 weeks. I like the Strat as far as versatile tones, tho the Silhouette got played the most in the last year. The 7 is sort of a toy. I'd posted some pics here previously when I had more JPs...I had 3 of them, so I decided to sell 2 and just keep the one I modded. Not really interested in the Jem anymore to be honest (ban me )
don't really dig the locking systems anymore. Tele is where it's at for the next slip on the guitar boat...

Re: Pics of My Current Stable...

understood.
what about the Silhouette? how do you rate that against the JP?
what pups did you put in the JP?

Re: Pics of My Current Stable...

Tone Zone and an Air Norton both f-spaced. I think they sound better personally. JPs stock pups are very sterile sounding. I might even go with some Duncans in there...as for the silo comparison vs the Jp...the Silo has a more traditional chunkier neck. Fits my hand a little better actually...good stuff either way. Just different tools for different applications. I actually have the JP tuned down half a step and then dropped to C#...it sounds great!

Re: Pics of My Current Stable...

i like the JB/'59 or JB/Jazz combo. i put the Jb/Jazz combo in my RGA121n and a JB/'59 combo in my '96 Hamer USA Special and they compliment the maple/mahogany so well! since you like non trem axes, try the RGA out. i love mine to death.

Drew...camera phone, ran out of batteries for the digi...usually it takes better pics than that...anyhow...

I might just pick up a MIM tele...throw some Duncans in it...awesome.
