Please help me id this guitar!!!!

serial is F9947164

seller claims its a rg770 but some people say 770's didnt come in black

That doesnt look black to me looks like nickel grey or something like that

The 770 I had was loaded with IBZUSA pickups, but it was a DX.

Doesn't look black to me either.

$300 is not bad though.

There are a couple of things that raise red flags on this.

1. 770's, to my knowledge, never had the AANJ.
2. 770's, to my knowledge, never came in Black Pearl.
3. 770's, to my knowledge, always used the 'IBZ' pickups.
4. 770's, to my knowledge, always had matching headstocks.

This guitar is most likely an RG-570-DX.

I'm glad you didn't over pay for it...but it's NOT a 770.

I'll say RG570DX

I believe these were a limited run for guitar Center a few years ago
