You wouldn't happen to have any pics of the axe with the Pickup change would you, I'd like to see how they look.

what do you guys think of the new style edge trem? is it any good compared to the old edge 7? i've always wondered that... got a guitar for my little brother with a Edge Pro II trem, and just restringing it, broke it the very first day(luckily guitar center took it back and we left the store with a much better RG470(tho it had a LoTRS) for the same price

How come the K-7 doesn't have any tone knobs or anything? I know that they both have different tone sounds coming from their songs, especially between albums.

Korn basically gets all their tones from thier Mesa Boogie RoadKings. Thier guitars are always maxed both volume and tone, so they didn't even bother t put a tone knob on the K7. It also provides them with a cleaner signal path for stronger tone.

Also, the Road Kings are just on the new albums. Before that they used Triple Rectifiers, Diezels, etc.

And I'd argue that a lot of their tone comes from the hundreds of effects pedals they run through

But yeah, as far as heavy, distorted tone, it's all Mesa all the time for the most part.

Heck, I've even seen Korn play through Marshall amps on the 7th Heaven Video

But what's the deal with RG1527's being discontinued now. Are they going to replace it with a better color and neck (Gloss black with Ultra neck )

I'm thinking the CB is being discontinued and the RB replacing it [since HUSA now has RB's in stock]

Oh jeez, does anybody have any pics now of the RG1527RB? Is it supposed to be a solid Royal Blue like the 7620's? or is it sparkly like the cosmic blue?

I'm guessing it'll be like the 1077xl/2077xl.

Now, if only they'd add 1.5" to the scale length, remove the dot inlays and bind the body, neck and headstock!

I don't know about all that, I would just be happy with an Ultra or Wizard II and a Gloss black or Royal Blue finish. Any other mods can be done aftermarket, except fot the extended scale of course.
