Price And Rarity Of This Guitar.....
I found a RT650 in transparent blue for $250 w/case.
Are these guitars real hard to find??Are they rare??
I thought I might pick it up if they are....
What's the "jemsite" opinion???

They were only made in '92-'93. They were never popular, but I do see them quite often. For $250, I'd buy it; not because it could be considered rare someday, but because they are nice guitars. Only time will tell what they'll be worth.

yup. not rare or collectable but you could spend alot more $$$ for a lesser guitar. lets just say for $250 you can't get near this axe today new from Ibanez, so it's a no-brainer in that regards (assuming you want an ibanez "strat")... glen

O.K. I went and looked at it and it's a 92.It's kind
of a transparent blue/green.Someone has replaced the pickups
with sym. duncans.I was sad to see a(big) nickel size gouge
on the side under the binding of the body.Also, they
want $350w/case, not $250.I'm going to pass on it.If anyone
wants it, It's at Tusculum music in Nashville,TN.
