It was white.

I noticed him playing it at the Nashville G3, too. Good eye, zion!!! I had almost forgotten about it until I read your post.

Satriani looks like a right weirdo these days. And if that PGM had been H/S I'd buy one immediately. Or if / when it became available.

Just because that one is white doesn't mean the production model has to be white.

True.

I like white, anyways. Anything is better than black!

I happen to think gun metal grey is worse than black.

Think about it. Black goes with everything. So know matter what color pups you choose to put in it, it will look good. Green, creme, blue, purple, pink, etc.
The Gun Metal Grey is a different story...
I should know, I have one.

Yeah, I half-agree with you. I think pickups should still tie in with another colour on the guitar, though. For example, white pickups look good if the logo and inlays are white (which they usually are on a black axe). Coloured pickups like pink, green, blue, etc, rarely look good if there's no other pink, green, blue, etc elsewhere on the guitar. IMO, of course. It just looks random, but it kinda works I suppose.

Grey is just f*cking boring most of the time!

Oh, and I cannot stand purple pickups on ANY guitar, they are straight WACK!

Whats with Ibanez, new guitars are either just plain white or plain black or any plain color? We need some fancy colors to jack up our adrenaline.
