Problem with an RG7420

Ok, im not much when it comes to guitar spec's etc etc (more like playing them, rather then talking about them), but:

I've got a problem with an RG7420 Bridge.

I dropped the guitar (well, i take the blame) onto it's front while putting it away after a gig.
I inspected it later to find that there was a massive chip next to the bridge. The wood is almost comming off.

I have got various different ideas from people to repair this, such as glue and clamp's etc~

Anyone know the best way to repair this?
I think im going to have to re-spray the body aswell, due to so many chips on it (unless i keep it the way it is, and make it look relic'd )

Thanks in advance,
Chud.

Glue + Clamp is the way i would go to, But if your thinking of re-finishing then i'd do it on the natural wood/snaded back finish :-)
