Red face Problem and a solution!

Hi all,

After posting some threads, I went to the musicstore to buy an RG550MXX..
Me happy, parents unhappy(I spend 2 much money on guitars) and my band happy!. untill i arrived at the store...Just before i came in they sold the RG550!That anoid me! BUT, ii went oline and saw a real nice Ibanez RG2550EGK, soon i whill go to the store 2 buy this

Let me hear what u think `bout the RG2550EGK compared 2 a RG550MXX.

the 550 is better!just the maple neck.the rest is almost the same

I'd go for the RG550 for the maple, the colour and a bit of a legend.
But you must know if YOU prefer a maple or a rosewood fingerboard. There's no better one just a matter of taste. The rosewood fingerboard will give you somewhat darker and you'll get more sparkle from a maple one.
There's also a bullet proof original edge (unlicensed) on the 550 while you'll have an Edge pro on the 2550 which has a cool design but I like it less. It's not as smooth as the Original Edge and it's a bit heavier on the other hand it has a low profile and you don't have to cut the string balls which make you save something like er.. 10 seconds when changing strings.

An update...

Last week, i bought my first Ibanez...it`s an RG 550 MXXRF!!
