Is this a prototype?

I got this LACSD RG7CSD1, which has a XL-neck, and for what i know, NO 7-string LACSD's has a XL-neck with locking nut.

Here are some pics

Is this a prototype?

It looks like the RG7CSD2 (hardtail w/ DiMarzios) does have the XL neck on it.

Somehow you have it on your CSD1 - maybe a special order?

Well if you compare my guitar and the RG7CSD2, mine has a locking nut, and the RG7CSD2 doesn't!

Since the 2 is an XL and a fixed bridge it's plausible to assume the 1 is an XL with Lo Pro.

Well I don't know what you mean, but this is the model that was produced, and I don't see any signs of XL-there, or do you?

That's why I asked that question, IS my guitar a prototype or what?

Now that I see the 1's spec I see your confusion. I doubt you have a 1, there must be another model that has the trem and XL scale length.

Well, should I check the neckpocket?

I've just put on new strings, and I don't wanna mess with it right now.

I put up another pic of if too, here.

It looks exactly like the RG7CSD1, except for the XL-neck.

First thing I'd do is actually measure the scale length to make sure it is XL. An XL has the trem moved slightly toward the tail to accomodate the scale.

This is what I think is so hard, where to measure.

Can you tell me where to measure?
