Pulled the trigger on an RT650 - What's it like?

Been looking for a 'superstrat' that didn't have a big ol' Floyd, but maintained all the other features I'm looking for; fast neck, humbuckers, and preferably some versatility in the switching department. The RT in question has a push-pull, as I understand, which I appreciate.

So, who has one, and what are they like? I've never tried one before, so it's a bit of a shot in the dark. I know some have changed some of the hardware, and especially the pickups tend to be the first to go. Now, I haven't heard this one in action, so I don't wanna make any snap decisions before I even play the damn thing, but it would be nice to hear what people have to say about it.

Also, Timmons had a modified 650, right? What pickups did he use?

AT plays a 22-fret RT based model with Dimarzios, you can get his signature bridge pickup, AFAIK he uses the HSS layout with stacked humbuckers with positions 2&4 coil tapped on the superswitch.

Oh sweet mother of...

Haha, amazing, the guitar's not even here and I've already killed it. That's a promising start if I ever saw one. D:

Seller took a few more pics before he took it to the post office. It's got a few dings, mostly around back near the edges, but it looks good aside from that. I'm very curious about the pickups. I remember back when I had RG's, I was always thinking about trying out combinations that I knew guys like Gilbert and Petrucci had used. Humbucker from Hell + Tone Zone, maybe two PAF Pro's, stuff like that.

HOT! I've always wanted one of those in blue.

Andy Timmons uses Cruiser bridge singlecoils, which you'd need a new pickguard to use, but his AT1 is a great sounding bridge pickup. I could see it working well with a PAF Pro.
