Questions about my new to me 540RHH

NGD-540RHH. According to the serial number (F9XXXXX) it's a 1989. Looks to be original-Edge, IBZUSA F1 pickups, coil tap, and Gotoh keys. But the pickup switch is in the later position by the volume knob which I read wasn't moved until 1990. Also, where all of these assembled in the H&S factory? This one has a Bensalem neck plate and the neck pocket is stamped H&S. Would anyone know the significance of the neck heel being stamped 'UALRL'? Thanks.

Re: Questions about my new to me 540RHH

As far as I know those stamped H&S were assembled in USA, so the neck/serial could have been around in the parts bin for a while. The marking seems to be
Ultra [neck], Angled [headstock], Locking [nut], Rosewood [fret board], Large [fret wire]

Also I'll bet the inside of your bridge pickup is painted just like the guitar. It was cut in Japan, before they sanded and painted the body. The neck pickup cavity has flat black shielding paint with sharp corners. It was cut in the US when they built the guitar. Just a guess...
