Does a J-custom case fit the S shaped bodies?

Re: Quick Question Vol. II

I think so, but I guess the guitar would be a bit loose in there.
Isn't the S body shape a little smaller than the RG?

Re: Quick Question Vol. II

The guy of who I bought my J-Custom S said it didn't fit Prestige case, don't know about J-Custom case, but it fitted previous Ibanez case (those prior to Prestige ones) very well

Re: Quick Question Vol. II

I have fit a J-Custom, and RG and an S470 in several different Ibanez cases including a new blue lined, a new red lined and a JEM/UV case(burgundy interior). All fit fine. I have seen some earlier molded cases that will ONLY fit the S style due to a different foam under the plush that actually follows the arch of the S body.

As I said before I didn't try it but I think that You can put S in any RG-shaped guitar's case but in some cases it simply don't guarantee as much safety as for them. (that's the point in custom case for my RG)
