Reb Beach RBM1BK model - worth $550?

I have a chance to buy a used Reb Beach RBM1BK for $550. I haven't seen the guitar with my eyes, but the guy says it's in good condition. I've just seen the pics in the IbanezRegister site and it seems a great guitar (and i love that "strange" shape). Anyway, i would like to know your opinion on this guitar (playability, etc.) and if it's worth the $550 bucks the guy is asking for it. Thanks.

I've owned one, and they're okay - you're looking at RG550 build quality with a slightly different balance and very different pickups... The necks have low wide frets that may or may not be to your taste... $550? I'd probably drop that for a mint one with the gold hardware and pickguard in blue or red, but the first year black on black ones tend to sell for less when you see them on eBay (maybe the $425 +/- range)

if the babe is REALLY in good conditions, she's worth $550, defenetely.
the RBM has a totally different sound as any other Ibanez, because of the mahogany body, perhaps.
she has a pretty dark and glassy sound, more bottomed, to my ears.
i got an RBM10 that was equipped with a crappy TRS, but i replaced it with a used Lo-Pro, and the babe rocks! and i paid her around $500!!!
the neck is amazing, pretty thin and fast, with smooth frets. she has one of the best action i've ever played!
about the construction... oh... if you know Ibanez standard, you couldn't be wrong!
for $550... don't hesitate! get the deal!! (unless the guy is lying)
