Replacement locking nut for a 1527?

Basically, I'm looking for a locking nut for an RG1527.
I bought one off Rich a while back, but its the current barless type.
Its nice and all, lol but it seems I may have to make a few alterations/modifications.
Its a little tall (which isn't really the problem).
The problem is that screws just aren't the right fit.
They won't go down all of the way.

So, does anyone know where I can find a replacement locking nut?
Would a generic floyd locking nut be a good replacement?

What is it about the screws that don't fit?

Re: Replacement locking nut for a 1527?

Well, I can only screw them in so deep which still leaves a lot of space.
I can't screw them down all of the way the basically.

The screws are a bit different. I think they are a little bit longer and thicker.
I think its also the screw holes on the locking nut.
On the barless type they sink in a bit more as opposed to the original.

Therefore, if you compare both the screws and the screw holes on the original locking nut, to the ones on the current barless,
you can kinda see what I'm talking about.

They're wood screws, screw them all the way down.
