I agree, the natural headstock should only go with the natural finish body. In fact, I think the headstock should ALWAYS match the body finish.

Not a fan. The headstock looks cheap and the colours are not my thing. In fairness they might look better in the flesh.

I like natural finish headstock on a maple board.
I did refinish the headstock of my 1550 before into natural, looks cool.

here we go :

1. RG 1550 , originally black. changed to olimpic wht, wht pearl pickguard, dimarzio tone zone and chopper.


2. RG 1550 , originally sangria, changed to green ( fender green), white pearl pickguard, 3 single config ( fast track 2- don't remember- chopper)

I still think the headstocks look cheap and unfinished, sorry.

And why cream pickups on an ice-white pearloid guard???!?!?!

not a problem.

why creamy? because it was the only single coil available during that time, others were black. I think creamy still looks better than black on a white pearl.
