Re: RG 212XTLB GAS....

Its really dark in real life but my camera seems to either take a not bad but lighter shot or make it light minty green. Either way im loving the piezo sound and its a great quality guitar. For a 2002 guitar its in damn good condition, even has the plastic on the back still.

Just needs a restring and final setup to my specs and it'l be a demon.

Glad you're very pleased with it Gaz.....

Col has shelved the Les Paul idea and bought an Orange Tiny Terror as he does the sound for us at gigs and was blown away with how great they sound!
We mike them up now - for a better spread and they're awesome

Damn, dude - badass guitar. I've wanted one of these for a while... I saw Jani (ex-Sonata Arctica) playing one and didn't really notice it at the time, but have subconsciously lusted for it ever since. How does it play compared to other Prestige's you've played? Probably similarly.

Re: RG 212XTLB GAS....

I'll tell you when i get a chance to play, since it arrived ive had time to play it for about 10 minutes and im away all weekend so the next time i get to play/set it up will be Monday.

I'll chuck some hybrids on it and give it a whirl and see how it goes. But as of now it plays well and the trem feels nice and smooth. Still figuring out the control layout mind.

I heard someone make a recording using a tiny terror on another forum and i thought it sounded badass for such a small amp. I was quite impressed and i know of one locally store wise so i might give one a try and see what its like.

Re: RG 212XTLB GAS....

mine is an 02 as well. i swappwed the pickups with the air norton tone zone combo. killer axe. i should play it more, but considering how rare these beasts are becoming....who am i trying to kid, i just like to keep the miles off of my prestiges.

i can see your point, but it was my only serious player for a year, so it got pretty knocked up. well, at least i'm keeping it.

Re: RG 212XTLB GAS....

I gave it an oil/string up/setup for some hybrids and then took it to my bandmates house and used it through his triaxis.

for stock pickups they sounded pretty good but they will be getting swapped out for an Air Norton and either a d sonic or a tone zone.

I also had a look at the wiring to see how bad a job installing them would be and , its like spahgetti junction in the cavity. Very scary looking indeed.

Re: RG 212XTLB GAS....

Well i made a wee demo to show you how good this gutiar is right off the bat.

Just a quick fanny around so its a bit rough but i think the piezo sounds great and the axe seems to handle the lead work very nicely.

And thats with stock pups!
