RG 2610 owners...help!

Can you take a quick look at your electronics and tell me what cap it's got.

.047 maybe?

I took out the Full Shred to try a JB and the capacitor broke apart while I was working on it.
Don't know if I really need it but would like to know just in case.

Thanks in advance!

Re: RG 2610 owners...help!

I checked mine but I don't have a cap. It must have been removed when I had the Dimarzio Pro-Track added to the neck.

I have a question though. Did your Full Shred buzz? Mine does but my Pro-Track is dead quiet.

Anyway, although I can't be of any help I didn't want you to feel like you were being ignored.

Re: RG 2610 owners...help!

Alaskabat, it literally crumbled into tiny pcs. It was falling already falling apart and there were loose pcs in the cavity when I opened her up. I couldn't make any numbers out.
I don't know if or how it was affecting my tone.

jonnyninja, the 2610 has no neck pup. Single humbucker with a volume control only and it was dead quiet.

Thanks for the response guys.

Probably a .033 uf.
Check the wiring diagrams on the Ibanez site.

Will do.

I wonder if it's even necessary?
I won't be able to plug it in and test it until tonight.

I never knew Ibanez had wiring diagrams on the website. Thats cool.

Just checked and they have it as a 330pF.

Bat, do you think I even need it?
