RG 320?

Played a guitar yesterday, and I really liked the neck -- the number on the back said it was an RG320. It was a kind of matte metallic grey, and had a TRS pro trem.

I am trying to figure out what spec the neck was (the Ibanez site says it's a Wizard II, but it feels better than any Wizard II I've ever played). Inlays were dots. The price on it reflected the rough condition (trem closer to the edge of the route at the high E than at the low, some dings in the finish, the trem was blocked). I'd probably be better off buying the bits off an auction site, but I want to know what neck it was. It didn't have that flat area on the back like some iof the modern Wizards do.

Re: RG 320?

Sounds like a RG320 GP (Gray Pewter Matte finish), Korean, 1998-2001. It did have a Wizard II neck.

Re: RG 320?

Definitely a Wizard II. That doesn't say it all though, I have 3 different Wizard IIs and all have completely different feels. Much like Squiers and Epiphones, you can actually find very decent examples of Wizard IIs, you just need to try them in advance to find out. If you can find one of the good ones, it'll probably be a bargain.
