RG 370dxgp2 up grades

I just bought an Ibanez RG370DXGP2, Is the edge 3 junk? and if so what is the best replacement? I thought this would make a good base guitar and that I could up grade it as I go. I plan to relpace n the body with a JEM style body what wood should I get? I plan on putting a Dimarzio super 3 at the bridge and a super 2 at the neck.

Re: RG 370dxgp2 up grades

The only bad thing about the Edge 3 is durability, my knife edges were bent within a couple of months. As far as stability, spend time with getting the right spring tension from front to back and it WILL stay in tune.

I love my tribal, best cheaper guitar I have had.
