Re: Which RG is this?

It's a parts guitar - it has a locking nut without the pads, yet a non locking trem.

Re: Which RG is this?

So it is...I didn't even notice the locking nut without the pads...No idea where the neck would have come from though.

Re: Which RG is this?

Judging by the slight iregularities in the pickup routes, I'd say the body was home made, but nicely done. Other than that, RG321MH body with some work done to it?

Re: Which RG is this?

It seems like it fits together too nicely to be a parts job...or maybe not haha. It could be a custom, the owner is endorsed.

Re: Which RG is this?

I doubt that the custom shop would produce a non locking guitar with a locking nut.

They're a lot more common.

Re: Which RG is this?

that bridge requires locking tuners so I can see where they would use a locking nut instead

Re: Which RG is this?

I'm not too sure about that, otherwise he would have the pads sitting on the nut.

Re: Which RG is this?

It's so obviously a project guitar.

The neck is probably from an RG2020/2120X or maybe even a 3120.

Re: Which RG is this?

Check the inlay...it's none of the above models, but yeah, it must be a project. I e-mailed the owner earlier today, so maybe he will reply me.
