RG-421 project guitar

Fresh from the paint shop. The color is hemi-orange. The camera does not do it justice.

Nice job, man. I like the color. I really like that white binding on the neck too.

Now only if the body had some nice white(even faked) binding to match the neck.

I did. Well, with the help of a friend who has a paint shop.

I thought about it. I'll see if the black hardware balances it out.

I will.

I have to find a couple of OE bezels first. The original (plastic) ones were cracked.

I've considered using metal ones too.

It's sooooooo hard getting Ibanez parts.

I have a TZ and AN to replace the V7 and V8 pickups.

Re: RG-421 project guitar

Very nice. You thought about getting the headstock done too? Look fantastic then! Doesn't a freshly painted guitar smell great? I know mine does, a pity that it's easy to scratch the finish the first couple weeks. Mine has a few already!
