RG 565 Question

Hey all,

Just out of my own curiosity and gas, how rare are RG 565's? I know the 765's are like hen's teeth (want one so bad!), however just wondering how many are out there. There is one on the bay right now and in a few months of looking for RG's it is the only one I have seen yet.

(and if you have one, post pics please!!!)

Thanks!

Mike

Re: RG 565 Question

There is a 565 thread--use the search.

As Ryc said, there are plenty out there.
Problem is--they are highly sought after.
Those that have them, don't want to part with 'em.
Plus--they weren't made for as many years as the other 500 series.

They are cool as all Hell, too.
Been after an EG for years, so you'd better snag that one on eBay before I do...lol.

Re: RG 565 Question

the 565 is one of my favorite configs, worked long and hard to get all these...and I still look for them, seem to be more and more rare these days...

Re: RG 565 Question

I just noticed something interesting. The 765's have the '87-89 volume knob location. When were they produced?

The other guitars have the '90+ volume location like I'd expect.

Guess I didn't search right! They are sweet, and lucky for you all of my funds are tied up in my 570 project!

My God those 765's are so F'n sweet. Rosewood, sharkooth, and matching reverse head stocks never looked better.

I had "USA Custom" logo's put on the headstock because at the time(6-7 yrs ago)that's all I found on ebay.

Here is the 765 when I got it:
