RG 750 and piezo bridge, question about my options

Recently I've heard MM 7 with piezo and liked the sound a lot.

So, my question is - How to add piezo to RG 570 (edge bridge)?

I can do basic soldering - pickups and so on but nothing advanced.

Is it a direct swap for the edge and http://www.***************.com/acces...-piezo-pickups Graph tech?

what kind of options I have to get piezo sound.

Thanks.

Your best option would be to buy a double edge that already has the piezo equipped saddles.

The double edge can be difficult to find. One of our members was selling his recently. I'll find out if he still is and report back here.

Re: RG 750 and piezo bridge, question about my options

I have a Double Edge Pro bridge for sale here on Jemsite with an RG2120 body/neck/etc. The leads are short but I can let you know where to find them. I'm not sure it will fit an Original Edge body though.

Shotgunn Mods are doing Edge mods to take pizeo's.

Thanks JSibanez. I'm not sure if I will be able to replace it myslef if it's not an easy swap.

Guitarmatt was selling his double edge a little while back. I sent him a PM and link to this thread.

This is the link to his (now closed) for sale thread:
