It looks like one. Nice score, at any rate. (Provided you didn't pay out the wazoo !)

I don't think Earvana makes 7-string nut. I've checked before, but it has been a while.

My first was a 7620 which I still have since '98. It was black but I stripped it down and painted it arctic white and put white blazes in.

Damn, a true beauty Allways considered white guitars quite pornish
You just sanded it and painted again ? Excellent paintjob.
Ah, yes, the pups. On that 7621, the pups aren't Blaze's, are they ? I got that impression reading through this forum, that even tho Ibanez' catalog says so, it isn't actually true ? Hopefully they sound good tho, haven't had passive pups in a long time.

That's correct, no Blazes in RG7's unless you put them there yourself The RG7's stock pickups are most often called New7's (they were briefly called Custom 7's but that name diodn't last long).
One of the nice things about RG7's is that a lot of different passive pickups drop right in if you want to experiment.

Re: Is this RG-7621 ? (56ers, beware)

The pickups in the RG7-621 are DiMarzio, but they are not Blaze's. My 7-621 is still in pieces, so I don't know what the pups sound like... I've been slowly customizing mine. The fretboard just came in today... should have her done in a few weeks, time permitting.

If it's got a '98 serial, it's got to be a 7-621. The 7-421 was a couple of years later. Best way to tell for sure, if you're that curious, is to pop the neck off next time you change strings and take a look at the neck heel & body stamps.

Thanks, Andre. And yeah, Crematia, that's exactly what I did. I have a friend that works in an auto body shop and he painted it.

Re: Is this RG-7621 ? (56ers, beware)

Yay ! It arrived, took only 7 days via USPS Anyway, it's 7 years old, and I could only find one ding on it, near the chord plug, and some minor scratches on the back. Little dusty, but other than that it's perfect. Just had to change strings to it, old ones were in terrible condition. Could not be happier A few pics:

Looks very sweet indeed dude!

I've always fancied a 7621 just for the fixed-bridge aspect.

Congratualtions!
