RG 7680 LTD1 - me gusta la gitarra

OK guys here is the review of the new aquisition to my still growing family
first of all the color, looks like the paint has a texture but is undere the clear coat so everything is smoth and nice, I got the grey one eventhough is a kind of blueish grey, the guitar sounds incredible the 1 1/2 inch more give to the strings a smothness never felt on any other Ibanez I ever tried, I found myself speeding on the frets so fast I couldn't believe my eyes even if the action is a tad high but still is totally impressive how broken in is the neck.
the pick ups I do not know if are Dimarzios Blaze2 or Customs or whatever else but they sound very close to my specifications(bright but not too much)
The neck is the 5 pieces Maple/Bubinga
The guitar binding (body, neck, headstock, dots) is glowing in the dark and the hardware is the powder cosmo black like in other hi end Ibanez imported here(in Italy even a 550 had this hardware)
The only thing that I can say is buy it because this is the first bundle and usually our favorite brand makes unbeliaveble first runs but thensomehow something change, little things but they are a fact.
I'll try to post some pictures but don't have a Digital Camera yet so be patient
Sincerely
Stefano

Congrats on the new guitar man! Judging from the purple one we saw here a while ago I'm sure it looks awesome. Can't wait to see pics! How does the baritone neck feel??

OK here I am
The guitar is tuned like a traditional 7 string at the moment and I think I'll keep it this way because it's totally comfortable the neck feels like the regular seven but I haven't take any mesurament yet
today I'll buy some film and take a few shots so in the next days I'll be able to post some

See ya

Stefano

Actually if I had a baritone I'd use the regular gauges used on most 7's. Because with my 7's I cant use the "standard" gauges cuz I think their waaayyy to light. I CANNOT use .9's. Never have. Theirs NO tone to them. With my 7's, which are tuned up a half step to C (with the rest tuned up even further to G,C,F,A ect ect.) I use a .58 for my low C. I cant use a .56. its still to floppy. I can get tone out of it but only with the .58's I can get enough tension. With the baritones I might even use the same gauges (if i got one). but i dont have a problem with tension and I think that is the ONLY thing the baritones are for. if you need to go down lower...I think if you were going to A then a baritone would be a good investment because I use to play in A and even with a .60 it was WAY to floppy.
Ok I've had waayyy to *much coffee.

Plus this is my FIRST time posting on this new board because my old name doesnt work!! waahh!!
Heres whats going down right, my old name was RG7dude. I kept trying it but it said password error.
Then I tried to go to the password emailer thingie and it said user unknown. THEN i went to re-register for RG7dude and it said user already existed. I was like WAAAA. hehehe thats ok no bigdeal. i dunno if maybe someone can fix this (glen) or if I should just stick with MADWELL (its an inside joke) but either way is fine with me. if you want to delete rg7dude go ahead doesnt matter to me...

I tune my Universe and Rg7621 down to A with string sets skinny top-heavy bottom 10-13-17-30-42-52+62 and I have no problems with Intonation or tuning.
