RG body (finish) is too sticky

Can I do anything about this? To me, the body of my RG 2550z feels too sticky (my arm/body sticks to it).

It's the only guitar I have this happen to me (I owned a Fender strat, a Jackson MIJ, Tokai SG, Vintage, etc and they were all - I think - also poly finish).

Also, as I have started a thread, does anyone know if there is any difference quality wise between the various RG prestige guitars in the ibanez lineup - the price si very different between an 1550z and an 2550z, or better yet 3550z and the most notable thing is the pickup change - but other than that? (and the slimmer neck on the 3550).

Re: RG body (finish) is too sticky

I'm not positive, but the RG1550MZ doesn't have the ZPS3, whereas the RG3550MZ does. The RG1550z also has a neck thickness of 18/20mm where as the RG3550 has a neck thickness of 17/19mm which is titanium reinforced I believe. The RG2550z is essentially the RG1550z but with the Ghost Wedge Shark Inlays and the Dimarzio/IBZ pickups instead of the V7/S1/V8 pickups. RG3550 has Tone Zone and Air Norton. Just off the top of my head, could be off on some of that.
