which rg do u guys think it is?

i saw this guitar in a used items shop.. it's an rg, made in japan i guess, F01xxxxxxxx.. HSH configuration, lo-pro edge.. non-AANJ.. sharks fin inlays, and i think the fingerboard is rosewood.. and then the finishing is kinda weird.. looks like it's been stripped and then stained with some cheap weird green water-based paint.. its a bit beat up, but the price tag was around 270 CAD.. im just curious which rg is that..

Could also be an LTD depending on the type of inlay, if it is same color as the original body color, then probably 770. If it is the "standard" pearloid sharks then could be LTD.

For that price I would grab it as well, and add 200 more in TLC, depending of course on the condition of the hardware.

hmm.. probably the LTD then.. but is there really such colour on 770? i doubt it's repainted, but that's the way it looks like.. it's kinda like the jem 7 bsb, but without then burnt stains, and the green looks so cheap..

the condition is quite horrible :P its so rusty and dusty, that it's better to call it a 'guitary rust n dust' than a 'rusty and dusty guitar' but well yeah, with some tlc, it could be a great guitar..

the problem is im kinda short on cash tho im actually saving up to buy a backup guitar.. also, yesterday, there was this dude who was checking it out.. i think he's gonna buy it.. tho he didn't seem to know that well about ibanez.. well, at least i think he knows ibanez is a great brand.. he even uttered 'hmm.. i wonder what year and where was this guitar made in..' after he checked the serial number.. so i figured he didn't know much.. but he was trying it out, for quite a while, looks like it's gonna be gone soon.. aaww.. maaann.. anybody wanna donate some cash?? :P

Well, guitars dont get much cheaper than that.....

If you really want a back up guitar, an this turns out to be a 770, you are missing an oportunity. It doenst matter how dusty it is. The neck, the pups, and the harware alone are worth a lot more than the asking price.

You can refinish it later if you don like the colour or way its painted.
