Next time when I change strings, I will check the back of the neck at the AANJ. There should be some type of stamp or numbers which can shed some light to the mystery about this RG-GOLD1.

Hey David, can you tell me where in HK you found that ? Was it just a Tom lee or a specialist store, cause I lived in HK for a year and never found many other guitar shops besides Tom lee.. ??

You are right about Tom Lee being the only store left selling Ibanez nowadays. Tsang Fook Music used to be the dealer for Ibanez in the 80s and they had all the classic Jems (BFP, VSK, DY). But after the 90's Tom Lee got the Ibanez sole distributorship. I've seen an RG-ART and one RG-ARCH at Tsang Fook but they don't take good care of them. I almost bought this RG-ARCH but it was quite banged up with so many chips and dings, yet they wouldn't drop the price. No wonder Tom Lee got the dealership at the end.

I was there about 4 months ago, and no tom lee stock J Customs anymore, havent for years, and I visted every tom lee in Hong kong, yes even in Kowloon Bay
