RG neck repleacement

I have an RG 570 that I would like to change the neck on. It's from 1989, and has a really thin neck. I would like something with al ittle more of a round radius, and something a little thicker. Something like the neck on my S2120 prestige would be awesome. Can any of you guys think of anything that would be similar, and compatible?

Thanks
Nick

Warmoth neck with the 24 fret extension should fit no problem. Just won't have an Ibanez headstock anymore..

LGM and EKG also make custom necks, I believe(links in the banner)..

You could take the Wizard II neck off an old RG470 or something.

AFAIK, there aren't any Wizard II necks with the old heel joint, RG470's back in the old days(1993) can with Orig. Wizard necks..

Hmm.. the 2120 has an ultra neck.

For a similar neck with the old joint, you ould try to get ahold of an old radius neck.. but that way you'd sacrifice frets 23-24. Maybe warmoth necks are indeed the best option.

Edit: Or you could *try* and get an old jem neck. AFAIK, those have pretty wizardII-ish dimensions.

Thanks toshiro, I missed the "1989" part! I also find the Wizard neck too thin for me. I'm looking for a Wizard II neck from an RG DX series guitar to build a custom guitar myself!
