RG and RGT with EMG

Hi Jemsiters

I am not sure this question has been asked before.

I am just wondering which Ibanez RG and RGT Prestige allow me to install EMG active pickups without any routing?

Thanks

Re: RG and RGT with EMG

Any of the RGs with pickup rings should allow for a direct install. Others may take a little bit of routing around the edges and maybe even a bit inside.

Re: RG and RGT with EMG

none of the new prestiges will, they are all routed for dimarzios only. some of the older ones will...the ones that came with stock ibanez hums. the best way you do it is to modify the pickup ears instead of routing the guitar. pickups are cheaper than new guitars.
