RG series 7 string F0034258 Japan

I bought an RG series, made in Japan F0034258. It is a 7 string and I can't seem to cross reference the model number.

Does anyone have an idea how to make sense of this #?

Thanks,
Phil

Re: RG series 7 string F0034258 Japan

What does it look like? Number of pickups? The serial number won't tell you what model it is (although the first 2 numbers indicate it was made in 2000).

Assuming it has 2 humbuckers and a floating bridge, if it has triangle-shaped routes for the pickup screw tabs it's an RG7620. If they're more like rounded-off rectangles, it's an RG7420.

Unless it has a fixed bridge, in which case it's most either RG7621 or RG7421.

The neck is stamped as a 7621 and the body has a 7641 stamp. It's a hybrid. Gojirra!!!!!
