RG trem replacing

What is the best method to convert my RG370DXL to a true fixed bridge? I don't want to block my trem, I want to do a full conversion.

Re: RG trem replacing

Can you recommend a good bridge to replace it? That's the main problem

Re: RG trem replacing

Get a Gotoh fixed bridge like the ones on Paul Gilbert's PGM guitars. Maybe upgrade the saddles to Graphtech ones if you want too.

Re: RG trem replacing

And how do you fill the holes with wood? What methods are recommended?

I don't need to mess up my guitar in the process of doing this.

Re: RG trem replacing

yep, get a PGm type bridge.

to fill the holes......
what I do is first I route the trem cavity to a rectangular size then make a piece that is an exact fit, again using a router.
I did this with the mid pup of this 7 that im modding...
youve just got to make templates first, makes it easier.
