RG VS. VB * - please help me guys

Alright...I've been thinking it over for weeks and can't decide on which I want.
I can't decide between an RG421 or an ESP Viper Baritone(VB)-300.
Reason why I cant decide is...well there are a lot of reasons.

Bolt on; *minus
Basswood; minus
Easier to do paintjob due to movable neck; BIG plus
Finished but not PAINTED neck; plus
String thru with saddle type bridge; BIG plus
Awesome RG body and headstock; plus
Japanese made; plus

Cost: In the field of 460-500...depending on shop or online store.

Set neck; plus
MUCH harder to do self-paint job having paint on the neck and not being able to take off the neck; BIG BIG BIG minus
Stop tailpiece and tune-o-matic; somewhat of a minus. (at least its fixed, but I'd rather string thru.)
Mahogany body; plus plus
Doesnt look as cool as an RG; minus
I BELIEVE its Korean made; if true, minus.
27 inch scale!! ; PLUS! (the only reason Im still considering it!)

Cost: 520 on Music123.com

I might be missing a few things but like I noted the main reason this is so difficult is because I REALLY REALLY want a baritone!! I tune down to C and its OK on my 25.5 scale RG but I can hear a lack of clarity that I think would be much improved by a baritone scale length, not to mention mahogany body and set neck!!!! See what I mean?? I want to stick with Ibanez and I love RG's so much. I just wish they made a damn RG fixed bridge baritone. And mahog/set neck (better yet, neck-thru!!!) would be so awesome Id buy 20 of them.

What do you guys think I should do? Any other suggestions? (As of now, Im still leaning towards the RG)

I don't see why a bolt-on is a minus, or basswood for that matter. Just buy the RG421, have the nut modified to handle the bottom 6 strings of a 7 string set of strings.

That VB is butt ass ugly, but then again I've always hated the SG shape, in any of it's variations.

Or buy a RG470XL, and block the crappy TRS.

Well the bolt-on isnt a huge minus, seeing as hows it a plus that I can take the neck off and do my own paint job. But I always did perfer mahogany over basswood just because of the sustain and tone I get. Same reason why i kinda perfered the set neck. I agree the VB is somewhat odd looking and I much perfer the RG's shape. I wouldnt go near a TRS blocked of floating (especially floating).

Thanks for your reply man! I think Im set on the RG. Any more suggestions would be nice too.
