well, before you want to pose like a smartass, maybe you should learn your stuff better.

that post was 2011, and the comparison is between wizard prestige HP and old (orginal ) wizard.
The 652 is introduced in 2015 respectively, and yes indeed has a slimmer neck profile like.
It’s got the same neck dude. Doesn’t matter the year. It has that exact neck. Wasn’t being a smart ass, just annoyed by people spreading misinformation.

of course, sure sir, you are absolutely correct!

now, let me make this straight for ya.

this way overdue threat was about RG 1560 which has prestige wizard HP neck.
I owned 1570 and 2610 which had the exact neck, and they have the same neck = prestige wizard, no super.
At the time this threat was started the only option to get neck thinner than prestige wizard HP, was the super wizard prestige HP, hence the 'SUPER' spec, then it is 17mm. And the model carries it was prestige 3000 series.

now you bringing up the newer 652 which also sports SUPER wizard spec.
I also have one of those 652. I'm still owning several 570, 770, 760, and some old USAC which sports old original wizard neck.

the neck on 652 is not the same with 1560, 1570, 2610 , super vs non super, period.
the neck on 652 is feel thinner and flatter than original wizard, i agree.

now you are telling me the wizard prestige 18mm on the 1560 is the same with super on 652?
who is spreading misinformation now?

so you got my point now smartass?

The original wizard is 17mm at the nut, the only thing that has changed with it “feeling thin” is the neck shape being flatter. Go to Ibanez wiki and learn a bit instead of calling people an ass when you don’t even know what you are talking about, the 652 is 17mm only other difference between them is the original has a different tapper since it’s 20 instead of 19 on the 12th fret.

Anyway, the year does matter if Ibanez Wiki is your source.

I get what it says, but honestly I’ve had issues with that sometimes, like it says my 7620 is 20mm at the nut. And a lot of times Ibanez still uses the same necks for longer than is known, and sometimes even guitars aren’t dated right (dating them a year before they even came out or a year after) so I suppose it depends. Only way to find out is to measure your specific neck with some calipers.
