RG1570 Question

Okay I found this on yahoo Japan auctions yesterday and it has me puzzled:

http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ion/w101681944

I know Ibanez doesn't do natural wood headstocks for the 1570s. Could there be a guess as to why this is? Maybe a limited edition or a new neck?

Also, what color would this be? I checked the Ibanez Wiki and could only come up with some speculation as to which color it could be

Re: RG1570 Question

Weird and very cool. Also not a color I've seen before.

Re: RG1570 Question

At the risk of being labeled a "Know-it-all" again..........

It's a 2010 RG1670MZ in fountain blue. It was a spot production model for the domestic market only.

Re: RG1570 Question

So I'm in the process of seeing what I can do to get that guitar It's a custom shop somewhere in Shiga (dunno exactly where, could be within 2 hours of me, or much more) and they have a used shop. If they can work something out I may be the happiest guy around

Re: RG1570 Question

Well as everyone probably knows, i dropped this 1670 for the 685. Cheaper and one of the most amazing axes I've ever touched This fountain blue 1670 is REALLY nice though.

Re: RG1570 Question

Ah, you're so lucky Matias, if I lived there I would be surrounded by nice ibbys, no food on the table or clothes on my back, just wall to wall ibbys. At €428 it's a steal. Do you ever visit Europe? You could have quite a career smuggling Ibbys. Have to convince my more sensible half to holiday in Japan next year.

Re: RG1570 Question

Actually with all the ibbies I've bought the last 2 years, I'm surprised I have this much money left over to do other stuff also

If it's still around in September or so, I might just go for it. I'd sell my 350 (take the pups out of course) and put those 3 Evos into the 1670
