RG1570 vs. RG2550Z - Need advice. Ready to pull trigger!

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Prestige, and I'm undecided.

I played the 2550Z - AWESOME guitar. Haven't played the RG1570, can't find one to try. I like the dot inlays better than that of the 2550Z.

Can someone enlighten me on the bridge difference on the RG1570?
Will it change the over pitch if If I drop-D tune on the E string? The Z bridge doesn't.

I can get the 2550Z for $799, since it's being discontinued, and the 1570 is actually a little more. I think the 2550's bridge makes it the better buy, but I'd like opinions.

Thanks!

The 2550's stock pickups are much better than the 1570s. The Dimarzio/IBZ will also have a greater resale value than the V7, V8, S1 in the 1570. So if you are planning on replacing the pickups, keep that in mind.

I'd probably go with SD JB/Jazz set-up in either.

1570 has a nicer trem. I have a 1570 With a Edge Pro and an RGT320 with am Edge zero. While the EZ has some good points, the EP is a better constructed bridge and, in my opinion, easier to play-right hand wise.

I'd say get the rg2550z it looks alot nicer IMO. i was planning on getting the 2550z in white but found a good deal on an rg1570 used. it's an awesome guitar. pretty sure which ever you buy you'd be happy.

in my opinion go for 2550.it has better p.u. and you'll sell it easier in the future(if you need to).
