i think they are testing the waters with this guitar for something else. what could it possibly be? hmmmmm...
i thought it looked o.k. in person (NAMM '05) when i saw it. it is way overpriced and a rather boring color scheme. black with small streaks of silver would have been a little cooler IMO or even red and black w/ a matching headstock.
why can't they use REAL tonewoods like mahogany or alder when building expensive guitars like this? like it was said before, you could swirl an RG570 and end up with the same guitar for half of what they want for that one.
