RG20051 Black & White Swirl

Hi there,

I am looking for some help on locating a RG20051 in the UK or Europe.

I have seen a totally mint one at 'Guitarreligion.com' in the UK, but not sure what to offer ? In the US I have seen listed anywhere from $1500 to $2500, but then it will cost around another 25%+ to get it to me. So, not sure on where to pitch my offer etc....

I spoke with the guys at Guitar religion who seemed really helpful and mailed me lots if additonal pictures and info. Their guitar is totally un-marked and has all the original documentation. I am looking to buy as a long term 'keeper' so want something 'as new' !

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Marco

You need to post a WTB ad in the classifieds section.

You're welcome, bud! Those are nice guitars, too! Takin' A Ride had one, and I've got the neck on my Jem77VBK.

Good luck with the sale--I'm sure someone will snag it pretty quick.

Re: RG20051 Black & White Swirl

I originally paid $900 for mine.

I later swapped neck between it and a JEM77VBK, then sold the Jem to AlaskaBat

I later decided to sell the guitar because the clearcoat seemed to be yellowing at an alarming rate, even though the guitar was kept in the case at all times. Make sure you watch out for that. Here's a picture showing how bad this was getting. You can see the contract from the white pickups and blanket to the cream colored guitar.

Put the original pickups back in and I think I got $1650 for it with the Jem neck.

Really made me sad to let it go, but I was worried that it would continue to yellow and then not only be ugly, but also not worth anything.
