Re: rg20th getting complaints...=/

so, i tried out just the amps distortion with the 550, didnt try no epiphone...but, it was a lot better, no grain....so i think for the sake of carrying less crap, ill just take the tuner and leave the distortion pedals...

the mg had a decent tone, it sounded a bit hollow but it cut through the whole band mix and sounded great during lead stuff...its all good.

Re: rg20th getting complaints...=/

Good to hear you sorted things out somewhat. If thats working for you, try and get a tube screamer or clean boost for some gain boost during your leads, or a nice eq so you can switch to a different tone.

The MXR 10 band EQ pedal is supposed to be awesome, I'd be putting that on my list to test.

DOD EQs are always cheaper than Boss and just sound good, IMO.

Best bang for the buck EQ pedal: Danelectro Fish and Chips.

Spend as little as possible "fixing" this tone, then start saving up for a real amp, IMO.

Figuratively of course

Probably get $50 or so selling it.
