RG20th truss rod cover - help please

Folks,

I bagged a nice little used RG20th DY (registered 1880 ) but it came without the truss rod cover... I'm looking to buy one from Rich but we do not know if it's plastic or aluminium (or "aloominum" as you yanks call it ).

RG20th owners....please let me know what it is so I can buy an original replacement asap!

Chimp

They are plastic. Don't think I've ever seen an aluminium one on an RG before. It's just a regular one like on many RGs from over the years.

Yes. Somehow Americans think it's OK to change the English language. Words like "favourite", "colour", and of course "aluminium" are just three examples.

But anyway... hope you enjoy your RG550!

Congrats Chimp!

Good god these guitars are sweet. Addictive is the best term I think. I can easily lose an hour of my life without even realising it when I pick up mine!

In fact, I'm in the market for a black one eventually. I'll wait for one to come up at a decent price though I think since there are more of them around than the neons.

Thanks Chaps....I am REALLY happy with it. Davey, good idea about the BK20th...I waited for a player condition DY20th and finally it turned up . I'm sure we'll be seeing a NGD thread from you soon!

With a bit of TLC and a set-up -thanks to Dee for giving me some tips over a year ago! - I managed to set up my own guitar and set the action and trem to how I like it.

It is definitely a keeper! **waits for Andy to say "See, I Told You so!" **

Anyway, I have lined up a few of my lady friensd to um, break him in (this guitar is a bloke, no doubt a bout it ) and I hope to have some saucy shots up asap....

~cannot wait!!!!!!!!!~~
