rg2550z prestige

ive got my eye on a ibanez rg2550z prestige in galaxy white.the dude wants 580.ive never dabbled in rg series before, whats your thoughts on this rg2550z prestige model.is it a top notch rg or a cheap one.the pickups are dimarzio/ibanez h-s-h what are these like,if they are crap ill replace them with evo's or tone zone.the trem is a edge zero (ibanez).thanks lads and wish you's all the best for 2009.rob

Re: rg2550z prestige

Those DiMarzio/IBZ are manufactured at the same factory as the standard production DiMarzios.
They are GOOD.

You not liking how they sound may be a completely different story altogether...

Re: rg2550z prestige

i have a rg2550 with an edge pro. i swapped those dimarzio/ibz's as fast as I could. it's a good guitar, it's not top of the line but it smokes almost any guitar in it's price range.
