RG3120 Prestige Neck Radius, Compound?

I'm waiting on the delivery of a RG3120 and hope to get some information about the fret board. I think it's radius is 16" but can someone tell me if it is a compound neck? The seller claims it is but I haven't seen anything about this guitar having a compound neck. If it is, what is the radius at the high and low end of the neck?

Thanks

To my knowledge, the 3120 didn't have a compound radius. As far as I know, the JS is the only Ibanez guitar that has a compound radius on its fretboard.

McKinney TX? I'll be moving into that area in about 6 months...

The JS had a "Multi Radius Neck" that referred to the BACK of the neck, not the fretboard. The back of the JS neck has an asymmetric shape from the bass side to the treble. The fretboard itself has a constant radius, unlike Satriani's own Brawer-massaged fretboard with a compound radius fretwork treatment.

If your model is from the early 2000's, it may have the "Prestige" neck treatment, which referred to some extra finishing steps, IIRC. But as noted, the radius is constant.

Look me up when you know you're coming out this way. I'm a Realtor and can show you around.

My guitar is a 2003 with the Edge Lo Pro and has the Tone Zone and PAF Pro I think. Would that have the "Prestige" neck treatment? If so, what is that? Sorry for the noob questions. Only Ibanezs I've owned were the JS1000, and a couple of low end models that I flipped for profit.

Ok, will do!

Here's some Ibanez propaganda (courtesy of Rich's ibanezrules.com site):

1999: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1999/99005.jpg
2000: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/2000/index.htm
2001:http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/2001/01002.jpg

I think the 2003 model has the same specs.
