RG321 discountinued!

well i was looking around music***.com and i happened to know the RG321 is missing, so i e-mailed them and asked why isn't it in the inventory anymore to view? They replied back and said:

"Hello,
the rg321 is not available anymore
thank you"

so i am guessing in the 2004 lineup, the RG321 won't be there? I wonder what guitar if there is any that will replace the RG321 with the only hardtail bridge in the RG and others range...

Does anyone know or have news about Ibanez's 2004 lineup? I am really interested to read some stuff.

i hope they release a prestige RG with mahogany body and flame maple top. i love my rg421 and would like another hardtail RG, but most likely nothing will be released.

Hopefully we'll see full details of the entire 2004 line posted on a Russian distributor's Web site in the next few weeks.

A prestige RG421 would be nice. I love my royal blue RG421. It plays so great.

Ditto. My royal 421 smokes -- I put in QM1 and QM2 pickups (my preference) and the tone/playability factor is hard to beat.

And a Prestige at that! Ishibashi here I come!!!
Appears it's (sort of) a more affordable version of an RG-3271....

Will these be available in the US, though? And how much will they cost?

BTW what's up with 3 and 5 piece necks, why not one piece?

As of now it looks like they won't be. No problem, if you *really* want one. Ishibashi can take care of you.

>And how much will they cost?
This depends on the US$ vs. JPY. Go here & email them for a quote:

>BTW what's up with 3 and 5 piece necks, why not one piece?
3-piece necks are said to be more stable than 1-piece; less prone to twisting.
