I'm moving up from Ibanez Strat copy and a local shop has 1 of each for about the same price. I know they are made of different types of wood but which one will hold up better / be more versatile in the long run. I like they way both of them feel (basically exact same shape). Mostly classic rock sometimes a little heavier.

Both are very similar guitars, with pretty much the same configuration. They'll both do what you want them to do, so play both, see which one feels and sounds better to you and go with that one.

I own 2 different 321s a 321mh and a 321e.love them both so I'd say that's the route to go imo.but as stated above try them both and pick your favorite
