Re: RG331

Another new guitar in addition to your RG2XXV? I definitely like the orange and I love maple necks so that is a winner for sure - congrats man!!!

Re: RG331

EDIT: I had nothing useful to add so I just got rid of the comment.

It sounded a bit on the rude side anyway. And since I don't have any reason to be rude, I'm just not going to be!

Beautiful guitar! I love the orange!

Re: RG331

Isn't the 331 only available in Japan?

What does the 3 in the 10's digit place mean? I haven't seen that in Ibanez model numbers before.

Re: RG331

I wish they sold the RG351 in that color with a maple board... and in the United States to boot.

Maybe the 3 in the 10's digit place means "awesome color" Just kidding, I know they use letters after the numbers for colors.

Can you see anything on that guitar that is different from a RG321? The 3 has to mean something.

PS. If I had that guitar I would scallop the fretboard from 9-24.

Wow that is quite a haul in one year getting 7 NGD's!!! I think I'd be in trouble with the wife if I tried to buy 7 guitars in one year ;o)

Re: RG331

Cheers guys... yeah i never planned on buying that many... just kinda...happened... as for the difference between the RG331 and the RG321... from looking at the both the only differences I can see is the RG321 has Pickup ring mounted pickups and and the 331 has a pick guard.... and the maple neck.... but the bridges are the same and they feel the same.... maybe they just used a '3' to denote the differences?

Re: RG331

Maybe 3 in the 10's digit means HH config with pickguard.

321 is HH with no pickguard.

351 is HSH with pickguard.

371 is HSH with no pickguard.
