Re: RG3521 Prestige

Actually not. I have lots of money saved up. It's really a question of if I want to feel like a real d!ck and buy myself a guitar rather than spend it on her. Right now I'm doing the worst thing we, in aggregate, can do in a bad economy; I'm sitting on cash.
Back on topic this IS a killer guitar on spec.

Re: RG3521 Prestige

Thanks Rich. You almost convinced me. Really don't twist my arm. LOL!
No, I just picked up a few pedals here and there. I can't bring myself to go beyond that.
Actually, I'd probably go with this guitar's cheaper cousin; the RG921.

I still think the RG921 a *tad* overpriced, but it would still be a good guitar if the neck is like the 920.
Maybe I'm just bitter and our dollar sucks more than I imagine it to be. I just remember the RG1570 being $750 not too long ago. $900 for a 921 is a little hard to swallow. $1,600 is really hard to swallow for this!
But I should shut up because I keep harping on price.

It's the tight end with wings to make it look like an Edge tremlo.

Especially if you keep harping on MAP price

I must be old, I remember when the 1570 was $600! [and that was MAP!!]

Re: RG3521 Prestige

When I get the gumption to buy that RG921 I'll buy from you Rich. Promise. I might hold out for a solid color, though.
PS: USDJPY back at 80. Hopefully it keeps creeping up.

Just so I don't look 2 faced, I still think you should figure out who your local dealer is and give them a visit

Re: RG3521 Prestige

When I'm ready to buy I just might do that.
Kind of back on topic, do you see Ibanez pushing more fixed bridges in the future? Between this, the RG1451, the RG1421, and the RG921 it seems like Ibanez is just putting out a few here and there a given year. There's lots more choices at the lower Indo level. Do you get the sense there will be more fixed Premium and Prestige offerings in the future?

Re: RG3521 Prestige

They only do it because everybody says if they build you'll buy.

You buy they'll build, and vice versa.
