Rg470 : Trs ---> Gotoh

Hi everyone

I just won an RG470 at evilbay
i read lots of threads and found out that the best replacement for de trs is a gotoh.

however, i did not find anyone who had done that.
i would like to know if anyone has, and could tell me if he/she had any issues with the studs or the locking nut, if the guitar adpted well to the trem, and if possible some pics

I don't want my trem to stand too much out of the gutar, and for what i've seen the gotoh isn't a lo-profile trem, so i wanted to know if the gutiar becomes uncomfortable with one of these...

thanx to everyone

Re: Rg470 : Trs ---> Gotoh

Yes I have put a Gotoh on an RG470, worked beautifully. I didn't even replace the studs for the time I had it on there and worked pretty nicely with the old TRS studs. I'm sure if you replace the studs with the Gotoh anchors and studs (they are locking I believe) it will be even better. The Gotoh FR would have to be one of the best if not the best trems out there.

Only issue you might have is that the Gotoh's trem block may be a little long for you guitar and might stick out the back. If you don't care about putting the cavity over on don't worry, or buy a smaller block of you do (or re-size it your self).
