RG470AH?

Has anyone played one of these? Wondering how the ash body works out for an RG. Just saw this model listed yesterday while surfing though American Musical's site.

Thumbs up Re: RG470AH?

Just bought one. Went in checking out amps, couldn't take my eyes off it.
Sounds as good as it looks, very sharp, but creamy. A little thinner sounding than my basswood rg, but has smoother mid tones, soloing sounds great !!! Great sustain too.
Came w/9, put on 10, tuned to drop d, set up bar as usual, all EXCELLENT !!! Qualit control was dead on, only complaint was superman must have tightend the string locks, but no damage. Pic in gallery.

Re: RG470AH?

Thanks for the feedback. Need to fix my email notifications, didn't see any email on a reply...

The 470AH will be my next guitar.

Re: RG470AH?

I have one, just got it 2 weeks ago. Problems with the tremolo like others have experienced... I love the guitar... I'm very frustrated with the Edge III it has. I still would by one if it was stolen. The natural ash makes it very classy looking.

I'm curious... What issues are you having with the III?
