rg55020th

Does anyone know exactly what causes the neck pocket crack. Is it temperature change or whammy bar abuse. My rg550 is in mint condition and I would like to keep it that way.If anyone has seen what causes the crack I would sure like to know.I once took my Ovation from my house to the beach to jam and when I opened the case the clear finish cracked right in front of my face.It was warm in the house and cold outside, won't do that again LOL.

Re: rg55020th

For me I unscrewed a desert yellow first reissue neck and then I noticed the crack. I think I tightened it too much when putting it back on.

One other guy mentioned if the guitar case is not correct it can cause that crack while transporting it.
