RG560, go for it?

Hey guys (this is my first post),
For starters, I own an RG2120XTB, and I love everything about it especially the LoPro. Lately, Ive been wanting to find another RG to add to the collection. I found an RG560 near me for a great deal, the owner lives about 45 minutes away from me. I've spoken with the owner and it looks like he replaced the original Edge tremolo with a new Floyd Rose Special stating that it was due to rust/corrosion. The owner also told me the serial starts with F92 and that it was made in Japan, which leads me to believe it made in 89. The only thing I'm worried about is that that guitar is blue with almost a black burst/fade around the edges, (black headstock, rosewood w/ a maple neck). I can't seem to find that color in the US catalogs, google, or wikia. I told the owner that I would come by on Thursday to check it out. Is it worth going out there to see it? I was also hoping to see if anyone knew if that finish is actually tied to the 560s. I'm skeptical that it's actually another model being played off as a RG560. I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks all!

I'm in between this option or going for a used prestige RG1570, which you can find for around 450.

Re: RG560, go for it?

Welcome to Jemsite atticus....nice to have you here

It's definitely a 560, but it's either been refinished (there are no blue 560's until '92) OR it's a '92 with a replacement neck/neckplate. The burst looks like it could be a trick from the light in the background. A previous owner could have done a spray can burst too.........better pics are needed on that.

OE's are easy to come by and usually sell in the $125-$175 range. Add that into whatever the guitar costs.
