RG570 buying advice.

Hey guys
I'm looking for some advice on some of the Ibanez RG570 range.
I've done some research on the older models vs newer, and the only difference I've seen so far are the Neck joints and the bridges.

If i was planning to get one, which one should i get?

Whichever one feels bett'er to you. Some swear by the AANJ, others the square heel. I have both, and like both. The 570s are fine guitars, so whichever you go with--you're getting a great axe.

+1
Both have different qualities but both are awesome.
If getting an older model I would inspect the neck, though. Look for lots of wear on frets and/or neck warp. Othewise the older square-heel models are just as good as the new ones.
Super Wizard necks on the mid 90's versions up are VERY nice IMO. Look for the bubinga stripe on the back.

Re: RG570 buying advice.

Is it worth to upgrade the bridge to a OFR or do these edges stay in tune quite well after a few bombs.

The Edge Tremolo is the best Floyd rose lic out there next to the Kahler Steeler I would say it is just as good as OFR

Watch for cracks between the nuts on the back of the neck and neck joint finish cracks.
Great guitars.

Re: RG570 buying advice.

How would an RG570 compare to the RG1570 prestige? would it be better to save up and get the 1570, since its a few hundred dollars more.
